Create more room in your NC Miata with this simple solution! Though seemingly larger compared to the other Miata models, the NC offers similar or even less space. But, if you get our seat lowering brackets, a potential 2.5" drop of the seat rail will allow more space! Includes a pair a brackets that will lower one seat. If you want to lower both seats order two.
The Jass Performance seat brackets offer 1" and 2.5" effective drop.
- The 1" drop version provides a more comfortable seating position for the tall drivers. It allows average height drivers to fit in the car with helmet, and not-so-tall drivers to be able to drive the car as well. *The installation of the 1" drop version requires drilling a hole into the OEM seat bracket.
- The 2.5" version offers complete lowering potential. Not many aftermarket seats go below this height on slider rails. So, if you have an average or above average height 6 feet (184cm), and are planning to race the car, this arrangement will give you a normal overview of the instruments and road ahead. *Installation involves drilling a hole (removing the OEM bracket) and cutting the rails to size.
These premium quality lowering brackets have been computer stress-calculated for real life crash situations. Installation is fairly easy. All installation steps are fully reversible, which means you can revert to using the OEM brackets any time. Sold as full kit per seat. Includes installation hardware and manual.
Note:
- The brackets fit the LHD MX5 NC.
- The brackets are compatible with non-height adjustable, non-occupancy sensored NC seats.
- If you want to lower both seats in the NCF 2009+, you will have to order one set of brackets for the height adjustable seats and one set for the non-height adjustable seats.
