The T-piece in older NA models was particularly prone to corrosion and breaking off within the thermostat housing, naturally resulting in a loss of cooling and the engine overheating. To combat this, I.L. Motorsports created their own, new and improved version. Made of die-cast aluminum with a clean, smooth-blasted surface, this thermostat housing is made to last and comes with sturdy stainless steel fittings for connecting cooling water hoses. Designed for 1.6-liter models.
