Fixed Engine Mount Kit by AWR

The fabricated steel replacement motor mounts, combined with the Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings that mount in the factory location, give more secure engine support. These mounts improve shifting and completely change the feel of the car, keeping power sent to the wheels as it should be.

These mounts help stop drive train lash (rocking) when transitioning from on and off the throttle by helping keep that engine stable inside the engine compartment, putting the power to the ground instead of rocking the engine and missing shifts. These engine mounts are both street and track proven. Replaces the fragile factory units which include NA5F - 39 - 040 and 050.

* These engine mounts fit with both AWR Racing upper brackets as well as OEM upper brackets. Please select which option you choose to run. They highly recommend replacing the weak OEM upper brackets, which are prone to failure, with their reinforced unit. Sold separately or as a complete kit with a heatshield!

What durometer is best for you?
Since 1995, AWR Racing has been producing top-of-the-line Miata mounts. Their motor mounts utilize larger bushings to reduce NVH, specifically cabin vibration.
Here's a breakdown of their durometer options and their recommended usage:
- 62 durometer (ultra soft) for daily driving with little to no modifications
- 70 durometer (soft) for lightly to intermediate modification levels
- 88 durometer (medium) for modified street and track builds
- 95 durometer (hard) for highly modified/extreme builds
If your first option doesn't suit your needs, don't worry! All of their bushings can be swapped out or replaced. Keep in mind that initial NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) may be present but will settle after approximately 500 miles driven.

- We will replace the product or refund your purchase price at our discretion.
- The warranty does not cover labor, failure of a related component, failure resulting from faulty installation, nor would the liability of Moss Motors exceed the cost of the original component.
- Warranty requests should be submitted to our sales department and must be supported by the original Moss Motors purchase invoice and documentation of the failure.
- Many of the brands we carry have their own warranty terms that have you covered outside of our 12 month protection.
