Mazda MX-5 Miata Front License Plate Holder is one of the best Mazda MX-5 Miata accessories for keeping your license plate holder legal without the hassle of drilling. Designed to fit the existing port on the front bumper of your Miata, this plate comes with custom extension bracket that locates your license plate into a better position on the 2016-2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata, including RF. When the plate is not needed, it can be removed easily, leaving no trace that it was ever there!
The placement of this kit will avoid triggering the PDC sensors on your Mazda. To ensure that the whole plate is out of the sensors view, you will need to manually adjust the angle of the plate once installed.
The black powder-coated mounting plate is the full size of your license plate and includes stainless steel button head screws that look excellent. Machined from 6061 aluminum and black anodized, the studs are made at the high end of the receiver tolerance, so that they fit tight and stay put while you drive. Made in the USA to exacting specifications. Kit includes hardware.
Note:
- - It will not fit Miata models with a mesh grille.
- - When using a rag car wash, then the license plate should be removed to avoid getting caught up in the machine. Simply use the included flat wrench, loosen the bolt a 1/4 turn, and then slide the plate off before the wash.
